Dow will be represented by three of its allied businesses at Asia's largest plastics and rubber trade fair CHINAPLAS 2017 next week.

This year marks the first time Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics, Dow Elastomers and Dow Corning Plastics Solutions are jointly participating at an exhibition to showcase Dow’s wide range of cutting-edge solutions, addressing key challenges faced by its customers.
Leveraging the strength of its fast-growing prominence in the global economy, the Asia Pacific region is set to lead the world’s new industrial revolution with the development of top performing products and technologies. Dow, the industry’s go-to innovator for materials science across the region, remains focused on providing advanced and customised solutions that fulfil consumers' needs and expectations.
Some examples include: safer diet with advanced food protection through packaging; softer and more comfortable personal hygiene products; high-performance products addressing pain spots of e-commerce packaging; lighter-weight vehicles that are safer, more durable with improved aesthetics; and more reliable photovoltaic power generation.
Under the theme of 'Delivering Solutions, Unlocking Opportunities', Dow’s three premiere business units will jointly present various innovative solutions for these key market segments.
Dow is going completely digital at this show. Visitors can simply scan a QR code to access all the information they need including e-brochures in both English and Chinese. They also have the option to have these brochures sent directly to their designated email address.
The circular-shaped booth is being built around 'innovation' pillars which will host digital displays and images of state-of-art technologies, products and solutions from Dow’s performance plastics businesses. The products displayed are tangible – allowing the visitors a multi-sensory experience. They can also reach out across time and space to have a 'Sports Experience' on the most advanced artificial turf from Dow. What’s more - the best player can win a prize.
Instead of conventional display racks, large video screens on the pillars will act as the interface between the brand and the booth’s visitors. A specially designed mobile app will host all the information about Dow at CHINAPLAS 2017, including booth location, seminars, and cutting-edge technologies and solutions. In addition, the company’s one-stop website allows interested visitors to sign-up for seminars and events at their fingertips – without the hassle of long registrations processes or double-bookings.
In addition to bilingual mobile APP and e-kiosks, Dow will also introduce bilingual Pack Studios VR at the show, allowing visitors to have a direct and vivid perception of the capabilities.
