However, this was a 19.3 per cent slide year-on-year after 2014's plastics and rubber machinery sales into China reached €809.3 million.
In 2014, German plastics and rubber machinery exports into China accounted for one-third (32.9 per cent) of global market share, with Japan coming in second place with 18.1 per cent and Taiwan taking 10.6 per cent.
The next European country on the table came in 5th after Korea - which exported €162.5 million in plastics and rubber machinery to China in 2014. The Netherlands exported €124.4 in plastics hardware to China for that 12-month period and could be a market to watch, as its exports into China rose by 64.9 per cent in 2014 after selling £75.5 million in plastics and rubber machinery into the Asian superpower in 2013.
