Borouge has celebrated the hard work of 58 of its employees from different regions and functions for generating innovative ideas that have significantly contributed to business development.

Borouge has also recognised another 124 loyal employees and senior officials who have worked at Borouge with full commitment and dedication for 10 to 35 years.
The awardees were announced during the Borouge Innovation & Long Service Awards 2016 ceremony held on April 10th 2016 at Sheikh Khalifa Energy Complex in Abu Dhabi. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Owners, senior officials and employees of Borouge.

Borouge’s innovative capabilities have been reinforced with the recent inauguration of the state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi that serves as a focal point of innovation and research in the field of polymer development and application technology. With the dedication and commitment of more than 70 international and UAE national talented scientists, engineers and researchers, the Centre enabled Borouge to file over 200 patents for more than 40 new products during the past four years.

The Borouge Awards ceremony featured a special presentation that was delivered by Izabela Lomacka, Global Procurement Director, Closures and Lables, Coca-Cola, who shared her experience and thoughts and inspiring ideas on innovation.
Borouge’s senior management then honoured the winners and runners-up of the Borouge’s Innovation Awards under the following five categories. • Innovator of the Year – Operations • Innovator of the Year – Customer Solution • Idea of the Year • Cooperation Award • Business and Service Innovation Award.
