Taking advantage of the exponential growth of the GCC's industrial base - both in terms of factory construction and investment - Expotrade is establishing the GCC Manufacturing Excellence and Technology Summit 2016.

Taking place from November 14th-15th at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, the event will address major developments, cover success stories and focus on key topics such as IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), matured lean processes, process excellence and quality management, advanced industrial robots, mobile technologies for smart factories and improve environmental performance with green manufacturing.
Expotrade revealed that in the GCC, 3257 factories have been set up and started operations within the last five years and the UAE is at the forefront of this growth with the country aiming to contribute 25 per cent to its overall GDP by the year 2025.
Taking advantage of this robust growth, manufacturers are adopting lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity, streamline processes, reduce waste and be cost effective.
