Dubai a 'promising market' for 3D printing
Dubai is a promising market for 3D printing, with potential for adoption and investment in additive manufacturing technologies throughout the Emirate and beyond. This is according to Regional Director of Exports at EOS Markus Glasser, speaking ahead of the inaugural 3D Print UAE conference, which took place on August 17th and 18th.

Plastics and petrochemicals were up for discussion at a key export summit between Omani and Indian decision-makers. The 14-member business delegation from Oman visited India on August 10th to develop new strategies to strengthen existing trade and investment relations between the countries.

Work begins on Tristar chemical warehouse and bagging plant
Work has begun on a new chemical warehouse and bagging plant in Dubai, which will be the first of its kind to be built on a 350,000 sq ft site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Dubai-based logistics company Tristar announced the joint venture on August 11th, which will cost Dh 75 million (£13.11 million).
