Global Closure Systems has announced it has signed a new licensing agreement with Duplas Al Sharq, a leading plastic packaging manufacturing company located in Jebel Ali, Dubai.

The UAE-based manufacturer has become the latest licensee partner of the world's leading closures provider, as it seeks to target developing markets in the Gulf region.
Duplas specialises in high quality HDPE, PET, PP and PC bottles and closures and has a long track record of supplying multinational companies such as ELF, Shell and Total in the Middle East.
Under the agreement, Duplas will be able to sell a broad range of GCS standard closures as well as locally manufacture closures based on GCS technology to the food, drinks, personal care an household goods markets in the GCC.
General Manager of Duplas Al Sharq Mohammad Nofall said: "We are delighted that a new licensee agreement with a prestigious and globally-reputed company such as GCS will enhance our local expertise with the latest international technology."
This is the 11th agreement GCS has secured with production partners around the world as it grows its reach.
