TOMRA tech chosen for upgraded Dubai recycling plant
TOMRA Sorting has been selected as the preferred technology partner by one of the Middle East’s leading plastics recycling companies CONSENT FZCO. The company has chosen to install TOMRA units at its PET bottle washing plant in Dubai. The contract will see TOMRA’s sensor-based sorting technology increase the purity and consequently add value to CONSENT FZCO’s final flake product.

LANXESS & Saudi Aramco announce ARLANXEO executive team
Specialty chemicals company LANXESS and Saudi Aramco are pleased to announce the members of the Executive Board of ARLANXEO, their previously announced 50:50 synthetic rubber joint venture. LANXESS will be represented by Jan Paul de Vries, who will assume the position of CEO, and Jorge Nogueira, who will become member of the Executive Board. Saudi Aramco will be represented by Ali Ba-Baidhan and Fayez Alsharef who will become CFO and CPO, respectively.

Iran's top preform producer backs SIPA tech
The largest producer of PET preforms in Iran is backing SIPA in its latest expansion drive. Khosh Form, which has operations in the cities of Mashhad (Khosh Form Toos) and Qazvin (Khosh Form Caspian) possesses 10 Husky machines and seven XFORM 500 preform injection moulding systems at both locations, all of them running with 96-cavity moulds. "The full compatibility of the SIPA XFORM with our existing equipment is a great advantage for us," said Dr Hajrezapour, owner of Khosh Form.
