Algeria's premiere plastics and packaging show Plast & Printpack Alger 2016 has closed on a high, with visitor numbers soaring by 41 per cent to 4,0360 compared to visitor numbers two years ago.

A total of 166 exhibitors from 22 countries brought their plastics and packaging expertise to the fourth edition of the event at Palais des Expositions d'Alger-Safex, Algiers from April 5th-7th 2016, making the most of Algeria's growing marketplace, which Managing Director of fair organiser fairtrade Martin März described as one of the highest-growing in Africa alongside South Africa and Egypt.
Delegates could find many big names in plastics processing on the exhibitor list, including Mapeco, KraussMaffei, ENGEL, Biesterfeld and Kautex.
Organisers in a statement made this week thanked their visitors and exhibitors and said they are looking forward to building on the success of this outing at the next Plast PrintPack Alger in 2018.
