Plast Eurasia has upheld its reputation as a major meeting point for the European and Asian plastics industries with strong visitor and exhibitor numbers.

Despite the turmoil Istanbul has faced over the past year, Plast Eurasia remains a crucial event in the plastics calendar and its 26th outing from December 7th-10th 2016 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center welcomed representatives from the whole spectrum of plastics processing to exhibit and explore.
Exhibitors covered every aspect of plastics machinery, chemicals and raw materials, auxiliary equipment, heating and control equipment, moulding, recycling and media across 10 halls.
In total, 957 global companies and company representatives from 41 countries exhibited across the 100,000 m sq floor space and 48,725 visitors were welcomed to the fair, including 43,609 domestic.
Plast Eurasia hosted procurement committees from 26 countries including Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Palestine, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
"The past 26 years have brought remarkable progress of the event and wider industry. Upholding the trust of the industry, Plast Eurasia İstanbul will continue leading the development of Turkish plastics industry and build one stop global trading platform in 2017 as well," organiser Tüyap stated in the official post-show report.
Plast Eurasia İstanbul 2017 takes place from December 6th–9th.
