For plastics, there is a world of opportunity in Doha in the coming years as Qatar prepares for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is why the city is playing host to a meeting of sporting federations, stadium owners, contractors and materials providers from around the world to discuss the global opportunities available for all involved.
The World Stadium Congress will feature speakers from Qatar's ASTAD Project Management, La Liga in Spain, Amsterdam ArenA International from the Netherlands, China's AECOM and the US organisation AT&T Stadium.
The meeting aims to bring together stakeholders working on stadium projects and tournaments across the globe to discuss upcoming projects, what it takes to deliver a successful tournament as well as review the technology and material requirements for these projects.
