The plastics processing champion is expanding its position in the promising Iranian market. Accordingly, the injection moulding machinery manufacturer has set up new consultancy, sales and service offices in Iran at the beginning of 2016. The company’s local partner, Kara Sanaat Rasha Co. of Tehran, and his strong team of experts with more 15 years of experience and a solid relationship with local customers in the plastics industry will support this initiative.
Alireza Nassiri, Managing Director of Kara Sanaat Rasha and responsible for Sumitomo (SHI) Demag key accounts, has been working with a network of loyal customers from the plastics processing segment for many years. Customer care includes consultancy services for machine and automation setup, commissioning and a variety of individual services across the product lifecycle.
Customers from Iran are particularly interested in automated high-performance injection moulding machines with medium to high clamping forces. Focusing on this segment, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag identified two target customers: manufacturers of high-quality plastic packaging with a demand for productive high-speed machines such as the El-Exis SP, and suppliers to the automotive industry who are working with large machines such as the Systec SP and require special processing methods, integrated automated handling equipment or downstream joining and assembly processes. Suppliers to the construction industry as well as manufacturers of industrial parts, medical disposables and all others will be interested in electrical and hydraulic machines made by Sumitomo (SHI) Demag.
