Work has begun on a new chemical warehouse and bagging plant in Dubai, which will be the first of its kind to be built on a 350,000 sq ft site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Dubai-based logistics company Tristar announced the joint venture this week (August 11th) which will cost Dh 75 million (£13.11 million).
The project is a joint venture with partner Skeberis Plastics, which is based in Greece, and will feature a chemical silo and bagging warehouse which is expected to be fully operational by mid-2016, with the capacity to handle 250,000 tonnes of bulk material of plastics granules annually.
